Showing the monster in the first Cloverfield movie sort of ruined it for me. It just looked like a CGI mess. I think the idea of keeping it suspense and on edge by not showing the monster on-screen but building momentum would work better.

The new Cloverfield movie is gonna be shown in IMAX so i'm assuming there should be a good amount of action with the monsters.
They only revealed that they're renewing the show for a second season.
It says "coming soon" though.
I mean I get that "soon" is relative but it seems a bit early to even start hyping up the second season unless it's actually coming out in the somewhat near future...
