the fact that STELLAR's crowdfund campaign doesn't close for another 29 days and is still increasing in donations even though the mini is coming next week is amazing they might even have enough for another mini album when it's all said and done. im so happy for them, that interview they did a while back really broke my heart.

also, i feel so bad for rookie groups that don't belong to the top 3..although nowadays smaller companies are doing well

btw do our youtube views count towards the charts? and should i have ad block disabled when watching?

I think it's important to note that the makestar campaign isn't solely covering their costs. They have to have lots money flowing in from somewhere else: 20k wouldn't even begin to cover a MV like Vibrato, let alone the costs for a campaign and recording of a decent K-Pop EP+MV. While they don't have the capital larger companies have access to, they aren't in as tight of constraints as a crowdfunder might indicate!

oh, mess i just assumed that $20k converted to won would be a huge amount

it's so scary how much is put into creating these groups, even the smaller groups have music videos that look like they have huge budgets. some of these groups must earn absolutely nothing from music even if its a hit
