Carly may have good albums (Tug of War is great) but her personality falls flat, is a nobody in the music industry, and is only remembered for Call Me Maybe. Lordrence has Lungs, Ceremonials, and HBHBHB, countless Grammy noms, wide spread critical acclaim, is known for many songs (Dog Days, Shake it Out, What Kind Of Man), has performed alongside powerhouse vocalists in the Aretha Franklin tribute), and is actually loved by hipsters and mainstream music fans. Carly makes generic basic pop trash whereas Lordrence makes quality alternative music that has quality lyrics and quality vocals. Carly hasn't won anything darling.

it sounds nothing like anything on Emotion
