I'm still certain the next season will take place on a ship regardless what Ryan Murphy says.

There were so many mentions in 'Hotel'... kids reading a book about Moby Dick (sea creatures will play a role), Liz read the book 'Ulysses' for example which describes the journey of Odysseus. It's gonna be like 'Jaws' where simply animals kill people and reverse.

But I'd rather be here for the Cult theme to be honest.

I'd still like to see a cult of some kind, or canabalism might be cool. Old west, old Hollywood, or just an abandoned town leaving viewers to find out where everyone went and why?

yeah no way that would work. first of all they would have to need doozens of animals and second of all their CGI is pretty cheap. they couldnt even have a minotaur look halfway realistic.

since he said season 6 is darker than hotel, not opulent at all and noir i'm pretty sure it's either a farm house, an old dark prison, which would be a bit too similiar to asylum or a cabin.

Wow that was such a bad finale. So many questions were left unanswered. Why did Sally put people in mattresses? Who or what the **** was the unicorn dick? I can't at Gaga being in there for a total of one minute

all these questions were answered before.

Sally has abandonment issues. her flashback in battle royale showed her first stay in the cortez and her shooting up with her friends, which she sewed onto herself. both of them died but she didn't want to free herself from their corpses, not until the addiction demon* appeared and tortured her.
she then always come to the cortez to take drugs until iris killed her and she ended up being a ghost in the hotel. since then she's been haunting the hallways searching for junkies for the demon to feed on/rape and to show her affection. she forces them to tell her that they love her and then she sews them into mattresses so they can never leave her.

that's why sally was not only in love with john, she was obsessed with him and why she wanted him dead and as a ghost in the hotel so he can stay with her. mr march though wanted john for the 10 commandments killings and forced sally to guide john.

*the addiction demon is a demon that was conjured by all the junkies that use the hotel to take drugs. he rapes them and feeds off the pain. mr march, as the owner of the hotel, can control him and uses him as pressure so sally obeys him and does what he says, otherwise james unleashes him onto sally. that's why sally never killed john.

just pay attention to the details

Bartholomews ''plot'' has been finished for 6 episodes.

He is a baby in his playroom and Gaga as his mother still cares for him off-screen because there is no need to show that.
WHAT ELSE WAS GOING TO HAPPEN? He's been a baby for almost a century, he can't grow up, nor interact.

i'd love an older season

i'd be ok with Prison or Cult, but but they could be very similar to Asylum and Coven, respectively

i'd rather something entirely different. i like the idea of a quiet abandoned town. like a murder mystery. but with human beings--no supernatural **** (vampires, ghosts, witches). the scariest horror for me, and i think people agree, is the more realistic kind that can happen to you or i. that's why Asylum and MH are the two most thrilling and favorite seasons among fans. they have (relatively) realistic and senseful plotlines with good, relatable characters.

Hated the finale because it was too simple.

Loved that Liz was the focus of the season if you think about it. Denis is underrated and I am sure that he will continue to be more used in future seasons.

It was not a bad season but not a great one. Third best of the show.

80's Summer Camp is a real possibility now that SQ is in a hospital.

I think they'll end up doing demons, I know people said they didn't want summer camp or anything along those lines and it is a bit cliche but I think it could be done well, the councillers sacrificing children to save themselves, something along those lines

I need something creative and down right SCARY for the next season. Hotel felt WAY too claustrophobic.

I need something in the woods, on in ancient times or something fresh.

If Ryan is going to follow the modern/old pattern then we can expect S6 to be set in the past.

If that's the case, I think something like "American Horror Story: Village" would be really good. Set in an isolated village/settlement in the woods, the theme possibilities are endless. He could include urban legends (Bloody Mary, Bigfoot), the occult, as well as real life horrors such as disease/plague (obviously set in a time before advances in medicine). I feel like a small town with wooden buildings and an old church would be such an eerie setting. He could even do what he did with Asylum and do jumps into the future with people exploring the ruins of the village.

What a wonderful finale. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of it. Happy endings always get me tbh. Sally finding the new meaning of life was such an inspirational part and I believe it's very important. I love how they showed it through a at-first-glance basic example. I was melting during the John's family room scene and seeing Rachel all grown up, emotional yet, when you think of it, quite disturbing knowing that she is the only ALIVE person left. My heart is still at the very last sentence of The Countess - an improvisation that eventually turned out to be the most iconic statement of the whole season. Only a pure genius could have come up with it. I am sad this journey is over, but watching Gaga from the very first second and her evolving as an actor was a divine expirience. Now, as are we speaking of theme for S6 I would totally go with something Orphanage-related and set in some other continent rather than America.
