Adele writes her songs unlike Whitney and Celine.

For example "My Heart Will Go On" won Song of the year and Best Song from visual media but she didn't get the Grammy for songwriting. She only got the Best Female Pop Vocal performance and Record of the year award (just like Whitney with "I will always love you" which was a cover.)

I don't think she does that anymore. It was really obvious when she started and recorded Cheek to Cheek but she stopped doing that and is better at blending and not being so boisterous.
