Mess I forgot about him. You are right, he was amazing in it and deserved a nod.

But the movie wasn't well received within the industry because of the streaming drama, maybe it was because of that. The Academy is very conservative

But, the people to complain to are the studio heads and casting directors, not the Academy. They can't recognize what isn't there, and if it's not getting campaigned, doesn't have buzz, do you really expect it to get nominated?

They also didn't find Asians, Native Americans, LGBT, Latinos, etc. But they don't matter right?

Posts like this are why I say a lot of people snub other races + minorities. Not even pretending to care. The fact the title of the thread changed is more proof there was at least an unintentional problem. If there was nothing wrong with the orig title, there'd be no change

I don't watch enough films to know who exactly was snubbed, but I will say that this is why it's important to go out and purposefully support minority-lead films. I hope everyone that complains about the Oscars being "so white" goes out of their way this week to support a non-white film.

When an asian role is sent to a white actor you say
"Maybe the white actor was well suited for the job why should it matter"

If you're in a minority and you know you deserve representation then start a movement with your OWN community.

i watch alot of movies and I don't think any particular actor was snubbed tbh.
This shows there's a problem with the film industry in terms of giving roles to non white actors though, which in turn is because they generally gross less at the box office which is literally us (the GP's) fault, so go watch and praise those films with minority leads next time
