Also, I can't agree at all that the album feels rushed. The production, lyrics, and vocals are all great. Maybe you just don't like the tracks as much as you expected? That's not a bad thing. Not everyone is going to be happy. I hope Adele can really experiment with her next album. I feel she was too concerned about making sure everyone who liked 21 would like 25 as well, which restricted her a little. I love the album, don't get me wrong, I would just like her to take a few more risks next time.

Only a couple of the songs feel rushed, like River Lea (she said she didn't have much time with Danger Mouse) and Water Under the Bridge (I'm not shading the song by the way ). Didn't she say that Send My Love was done in a day? I don't know, it just feels like she didn't have much time with a lot of the people she worked with.

She didn't start the final version of the album until last January and by July she was already playing the album to the Guardian for her interview.

Hmm I wouldn't say she was rushed when she said SML was done in a day. I mean if the song is complete in there eyes than the time it took them doesn't really matter. I haven't kept up with what she said about River Lea, but I think the song is good so WUTB also slays and its ones of the top tracks on 25

When the Brazilian stans kept calling every track "country" I was a bit nervous. The only countryish song would be Sweetest Devotion so 1/14 for them I guess

Re: unreleased songs about her son... I know there seems to be this idea that the public wouldn't connect with them, or maybe that they would violate their privacy, or whatever, but I think the times we actually connect to her most is when she's singing about something that we can see matters to her. Like, the majority of people that listen to SLY probably haven't had quite that much of an age-defining breakup, we don't know exact details of hers, but yet we're all bawling. A large number of the people who are now hearing SD probably don't have kids, but we can still tell how important that experience has been for her and all feel really happy when we listen to it. While, at the same time, just about everyone has surely experienced friends hearing and spreading things that aren't true about them, but I don't get the sense that that's something that she deeply cares about and thus I connect less to a song like RHI. ...Does that make any sense?

!!! I just hope she knows what worked and what didn't work and goes from there.

Max Martin is used to do tracks in less than one day, hence why his work isn't that good. He has been getting along with Dr. Luke for quite a while now and he's downgraded his quality.

River Lea and WUTB may feel rushed but they're both great tracks. The first one, as I stated before, is a grower.

She said in her Beats interview that she didn't get to spend much time with Danger Mouse and Max Martin is notorious for making the production with jibberish lyrics and then filling in lyrics later on. And that's how Send My Love comes off. It's like she had that guitar opening, took a recycled Max Martin beat from "Red" and threw random lyrics over it.

Well if she said that about River Lea I guess it was rushed a bit then. On the other hand, SML's lyrics are not really jibberish although I would agree the production does sound a bit rehashed. This could be said about other songs on the album as well so I wouldn't just hammer SML

Water Under the Bridge recording was literally done in the middle of October of 2015..It was before the MTV European Awards rehearsal according to Jess Glynne whom she have heard Adele recording the track. Like just weeks before the final mixing.
