What I love about If I Were A Boy is that you can see the huge change in pop music aesthetics over the course of it's promotion from late '08 to early '10. The first image comes from one of the first performances in 2008 and the second at the Grammys in 2010. The first is akin to Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado etc. and reflects what was worn around the time and a little over a year later you could definitely see that a new era had been sworn in, with Gaga holding the reigns.
