Ariana is talented to if you think about it, she kind of won like talent always wins. She doesn't have lupus like Selena and she's not a loser like Demi. She is also mentally stable unlike Miley and she's a lot more relevant than Zendaya wishes she could ever be. Talent wins in many strange ways, just not on the charts or in sales for Ariana.
Gagz is beyond culturally iconic enough to have her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (especially because she's a Golden Globe-winning actress hi hi) but I would rather she pay for awards than a star.
