But music was planned to be released tho. There was this Superbowl promo thing that would be in stores that would be a billboard of her where people could buy the physical single or something like that. Pretty sure "Grown Woman" was supposed to be involved + one of her choreographers said he suggested Blow (which was "Cherry") at the time to be in the set. It's just that with Bey, nothing is ever truly set it on stone.

I think she's laying low because from the SB onward, she's gonna be doing a bunch of things.

I honestly could see her doing it. A) its in Brazil this time around and Brazilians adore Bey, b) it would be another milestone in her career and sth she hasnt done yet c) she's powerful enough to be selected.

I personally am not expecting her to perform in Rio 2016 but it could be possible. Brazil have a rich culture much more so than Baku who had Gaga perform for the European Games. It'll probably be a samba Olympics given what they teased at the London 2012 closing ceremony with Sue Jorge and 'Não Vem Que Não Tem'.

Her best bet will be in 2024 when the US are due hosting another Olympics. The Olympics will likely be in either Paris or a US city. But then she'll be up against all the other US girls. The fumes though at whichever pop-girl gets to perform in 2024. Maybe, they'll all perform à la the music tribute at London 2012.

Btw, I just saw the DVD by The Rolling Stones and I have to say, it was directed fantastically by Martin Scorcese. Bey should work with him. He really captured Mick and the rest of the band perfectly.

Even if we don't get music soon, looking back 2013 was pretty damn exciting in hindsight. I could deal with another year of scattered things and then a release. We've had MIA and the lip sync. Plus the Superbowl and top shop coming up and thats just the stuff we know. Either way it looks like we will have more to be excited about than in 2014 so that is a plus. Hell if she is building up momentum again she may even attend some events (one can pray).

speaking of which...Jonas Akerlund did a horrible job editing OTR for HBO. i expected more out of him given the other work he's done with Bey.

I had a dream I was bey's supervisor/planner/assistant whatever something along those lines and we were discussing whether she wanted to accept another vanguard award in 2017. For some reason she was sad about something that had recently happened and she didn't want to plan anything

Thats why I thought of it actually I agree, while I love the video sequences they did (although I think they were done by sb else), I wasnt to fond of the editing. It felt pretty hectic at times and didnt really manage to capture the magic of the two (at least with regards to some performances).
Another thing I rly missed were letting us see how the crowd responded. Its such an important thing imho when filming tours to see the reaction and interaction between musician and crowd.
