Because he is actually going #1 there and will have another top 10 album and some more good selling albums. That's totally different and also it is the norm for albums to have high debuts and then fall fast.

Singles are totally different than albums in every regard and the BB200 and the Hot 100 work very differently.

I agree with Ace and some of the others that saying "Without Bowie" is unnecessary and disrespectful. But I don't post in this thread much, so my opinions rather irrelevant.

Anyway, nice to see Selena and Bieber holding up so well, I really like both of their albums.


Although I don't really like Hands to Myself, I enjoyed SOL and GFY better. So I'll wait for Sober, Kindness, or M&TR

Honestly, with SOL & HTM Selena was definitely going more the safe route tbh. Sober needs to be the next single. But that will take a while I guess, cause Selena's singles always peak extremely late and they have huge longevity.

"Without Bowie" is not disrespectful or unnecessary. If this was referring to the UK chart, yes it would be, because his songs will have a much bigger impact there. However, unlike the US, radio support is not a factor on the British charts which is the reason why. Bowie is charting in the top 10 but due to lack of radio, it's never going to chart that high.

The chart positions he's managed to gain on iTunes are absolutely amazing and shows how great his legacy will be, but they will sadly not translate into such high positions on billboard and there's no reason to be angry at someone acknowledging this fact and discarding the positions.
