Have you noticed that WWWY is also in the 7.6 million albums Adele has sold right and its not on Spotify At least wait until the single is done. So not really a tea.


& How is a #12 peaking song not a hit Its definitely a moderate hit, not just smashing. Not every hit has to be a #1 or a Top 10 song.

In the night is a "hit" but not on its own merit. It's "success" is solely riding of the back of his 2#1s, the song itself is clearly not drawing interest

Yes, also they think all hits must be immediate but some songs grow over time. Look at Bowie, I also think Lana Del Rey is another example but it's too early to tell.

But it's just a single, not the full album. "Hello" has been available on Spotify since it came out and that hasn't hurt her brand in the slightest.
