I was giving examples of award shows that are notorious for pandering to popularity and aren't taken that seriously in the industry itself. Of course they're not on the same level in terms of how the public perceives them. Most people think the Globes are important for some reason Gaga won with the public yesterday so good for her. But only the most delusional monsters think she actually earned that trophy.
