I haven't watched AHS but did Gaga really deserve a GG?
She couldn't act in her music videos so I don't see how she could act in a show.
Mind you, if she wasn't the one writing/directing/producing/costume & set designing/filming etc etc amen, then maybe she could have scraped together a passable job, but still.

As an undercover stan, I can say she didn't. I haven't seen the other nominees works in what they were nominated for, though.
She's not as horrible as undercover Britney stans say she is. She did start off rough on the show but you can see the progress throughout the episodes.
Who were the big winners at the 2016 Golden Globes? The usual suspects walked away with a coveted statuette on Sunday night, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Matt Damon, and Sylvester Stallone, but there were several nominees who were expected to lose, proving prognosticators wrong when they were called up to the stage to accept their awards. Of course, Leonardo DiCaprio didn't surprise anyone on Sunday night when he won his third Golden Globe (Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama, The Revenant). But, according to the buzz on Twitter, DiCaprio's biggest win ever was for his eye-roll when Lady Gaga pushed by him to get her award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie.
