Like, I really don't think it's that serious. They clearly had an agenda this year with the whole "first nomination = first award" setup happening more than a couple times iirc. Just take it for what it is - Gaga has a Golden Globe now.
No assessment of her acting, no analysis or dissection, could possibly change it, and the only people who can truly justify or question her victory are those who chose her as the winner.
I don't know the Golden Globes' reputation of course, but at least this isn't a setup like the Grammy Awards' past few years.

It really isn't that serious. I just think it's sad that there is even setups in awards shows at all.
A LOT of them have lost their credibility over the years. Idk if they're doing it for ratings, or if Gaga "paying for it" is actually a thing, but something isn't right.
