EMO starts off as bliss - the first five tracks are great and a pleasure to listen to. But then after that the album gradually evolves into mediocrity, perhaps even bad when you get to "LA Hallucinations" and pretty much every deluxe track. The greatness of the first five tracks delude people think the rest of the album is good despite how mediocre the rest of it actually is.

But still, I guess it beats any Toadney/Katy/Rihanna album.

Troye isn't for everyone, I mean objectively speaking he can't really sing, his songs don't have much of a melody and his lyrics need a lot of work. But there's just something about this depressed little gay twink humming over catchy production.

It's not so commercialized. You have to really be a music lover, be a true fan of music and the love of being open to really appreciate the record. It's just a special piece in her body of work that will forever live on. The older the record gets the more people will come to appreciate it actually and check it out.

But if you aren't a music person, it is just going to go over your head. I really think it'll be fully appreciated in the years to come.
