Yasssss Instinct!!1 the soundtrack was so GODLY. they got the themes for every location SO right. Tho I recall the game was draggedT by the critics for some dumb reason, I actually did not bother with the Sims 2 on PS2, Castaway was cute however, but I never finished it.

Might cry from the FLOOD of nostalgia, I mean, it's been a decade since I played it.
They know how to sing the hits they hear on the radio. Nobody remembers all 13 songs on a hit album. People go to concerts just to hear hits. Hits help move album sales. They are an artist's bread and butter. Hip hop is different because it is all about lyricism and albums, though I would say even that is changing now. Most folks just want a quick little hit.
People remember songs that will live on. Just because they're on the radio doesn't mean they will remember it. No shade, but how many "hits" do you think the public will remember by Jason DeRulo?
It is not that it isn't a good thing. It is just that most people do not know album sales figures. We know because we are musicheads but the public generally just know the signature songs. That is why I think Taylor will have a problem if her music continues to be so forgettable. She sells millions of albums but what signature song will she be remembered by in 5-10 years. Shake it Off? Love Story? Blank Space? Maybe its just me but her hit singles are soo forgettable.

I wouldnt be surprised if in the future we go back to the 1950-60s model and artists just stop making albums together and just put out multiple singles every year.
