i joke about it a lot but DC's actually not really a dangerous city. except for southeast DC. go there if you want to get mugged and die.

and there's a lot of fun things to do. there's museums of types that they don't have anywhere else, there's usually some kind of festival going on (and blocking traffic...), there are a lot of really good restaurants, the people are mostly really nice and cool...don't hate on my city boy >: (

The least impressive thing as a former D.C. resident is probably the White House. I think it is a disappointing attraction tbh and there is so much more to see in the city, but I guess its a must do.

I think the thing I was most 'disappointed' about was how small the lincoln memorial/reflecting pool was. it was still nice but I imagined being so much bigger ya know

DC was fun I guess. I saw the Capitol, Washington Monument and the White House. At night I went to 9:30 club to see Ryn. That part of DC was nice.

I've literally only been to places in the Northeast. NYC, DC, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Vermont and also Montreal. Although some places we only drove through like New Jersey but whatevs I was physically in the state

I've been to NYC and I liked it but I want to go back since I was only there for like 4 days.

San Francisco is kind of fun too, but I'm biased since I have a lot of family there I guess. My favourite American cities are Portland and Seattle >

I've been to most major cities. I've avoided Texas though + saving Vegas until 21.

LA, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, NYC, DC, Orlando, Nashville, Baltimore, Phoenix, and Philly.

I really want to visit more cities West like San Francisco, Denver, etc.

um well speaking from my own limited experience I went to times square, I mean that's a no brainer. Also went to the Bronx Zoo, MoMA, Museum of Natural History, Central Park and then there's an ice skating rink located there as well which is QT, Ripley's Believe it Or Not, the Wax Museum

The thing is, cities in the South are really far from each other. Atlanta is not that close to Miami and DC, let alone the North East. And transportation is expensive

In Europe trains are so accessible and relatively cheap. You don't need a car to move around

NYC is so fun. I. hate. times. square. so. much. The last 3 times I've been, I didn't step a foot in Times Square. There's Central Park, tons of talk shows (this is the best thing to do tbh!), the Lower East Side which is fun for night life, Chelsea and Soho is fun to shop and its a really unique place, the 9/11 memorial is so peaceful and just to walk around the city is so amazing
