I actually dug She Wants Revenge a lot (possibly because this show's franticness hadn't set in yet), but otherwise I am 100% with you. And yeah, the dinner scene ACTUALLY felt conclusive.

The Ramona/Countess scene was such a let down. Honest to God, Ramona is so pointless. You could excise her entire character and only need to make minor tweaks to the season.

I much preferred She Gets Revenge to She Wants Revenge. Gets may have been excessively campy but it was a nice break compared to the otherwise dark season. Wants started great, but Ramona's backstory dragged and didn't really add anything, the kids were incredibly annoying, and Valentino and Natacha were too. The pacing of Gets just felt perfect which has been one of the main challenges this season I think, especially with the ensemble cast.

I know this is Ryan Murphy but I'd like to see Angela play a more serious character, considering she's done it many times before, instead of always being sassy black woman (even if she plays it well). Her only worthwhile character was Marie Laveau.

WOW. The Countess suffered so much in this episode, I can't . Sally's story has got to be the one of the most, if not the most disturbing scene in AHS history. Ramona + The Countess scene made me cackle a bit though I honestly don't know what's left for the finale. But I'm definitely slayed by this episode AHS: Hotel's second half >>> first half. I think it's going to be my favorite season (after Asylum which was perfection).

Oh ****, I mixed those up. I was thinking of She Gets Revenge. THat's the one with Iris' tribute video, right? If so, yeah. That was the one I loved. The other was okay, but. Worst episode is easily 10CK followed by Devil's Night, though. The only thing worse than feeling scatterbrained is feeling slow, monotonous, and overly drawn out + unnecessary. Those two both added very, very little

Agreed. On a sidenote, is Ryan capable of writing a black woman who ISN'T sassy? Queenie, Marie, Desiree, Dora, Ramona, Zayday, Denise.... like....... I guess there was Alma.

This tbh. It seems like she's been playing the same character ever since. Her scene with Queenie didn't help with that either She slays though! I just think she deserves a different character. Ramona is a little disappointing.

Oh yeah, Bassett does great work. Just... it's literally the same character over and over. I mean, at least Desiree was heroic Marie. This is just Vampire Marie. And both Desiree + Ramona are 100% detatched from literally everything

I think Ryan wants Bassett on the show, but doesn't have a damn clue what to do with her. So he just recycles Marie as a glorified side character.

good point. But if i want a coven connection i would done it during the earlier episodes were it was mostly boring. Myrtle should be (if she wasn't dead) TC's long-time friend or something. There should be an episode were Gaga asked myrtle's help to get rid of March's ghost.

Early season > late season with a few exceptions. Battle Royale was not one of them

I don't want to look into it too much but I was wondering like does everyone in the AHS world actually think witches are real? I know we won't ever know but I guess I just didn't want this season (or any season) to be connected to Coven because I didn't want the world to think witches were like a normal thing now.. idk. I just hope everyone thinks they just claim to be witches lol I'm gonna stop looking into it now. I know it's not that serious.. this is AHS.

Because it's a permanent record. They could live for hundreds of years and outlive humans, so they don't want people realizing that they've lived throughout history cause of the virus.

The backstory of Sally was just really gruesome. Though I miss the exact explanation how she became a drug addict in first place. My sympathy for her has gone back. Saving the Countess and trying to kill off John? She's so wrong.
Thank God Queenie is dead. May she be trapped inside the Cortez forever now. Ramona is probably next on anyone's bucket list.
What exactly was the point of bringing Scarlet back? I feel like she doesn't stand up against her family. She may have to accept how they live as she's a child after all but it's still confusing. She better stay at her grandma's again.
Speaking of children... where the **** is Lachlan? Where is Bartholomew? They better appear in the finale.
Something tells me that at least Iris won't live any longer. The way she dealed with Dono's death left me and definately several other viewers suspicious she may end it on herself soon or the Countess does, seeking revenge. And Liz is not safe either.
Ms. Evers doesn't deserve to be treated like that by James. He's just pure evil. Always full of amazing quotes she owned them both when she left the door.
Now that it's confirmed more or less that vampires turn into ghosts too I would like to foresee a romantic ending for Liz. That at least when she gets killed off she can spend eternity with Tristan.
As for Will Drake's body that's left... it better be removed soon. Lachlan doesn't deserve to think it's normal that his daddy reappears again. About Lachlan's future... what I thought was maybe the Lowes adopt him or even Iris. But he's definately best saved in an orphanage.

Now that was another amazing episode after the long wait. I can't believe it's ending soon. It's going to be one of my favorite AHS seasons of all time.
