Yeah but I'm pretty sure her next album will be full of pop hits, this is just a phase....unless she has another public scandal before her next album.

so ive been promoting this album all day while I was at school. No one said they are buying it (but neither were they buying gaga or beyonce). People are so cheap yo. Its like ugh. Im buying my copy today. IDC what no one says. I dont even want Rihannas album to be #1 on the Billboard 200. This album is a masterpiece in its entirety, and if people dont really see that because of her image or whatnot, then forget them. Rihanna knows what shes doing. She'll still pull in fans and make money.

I hope your not being sarcastic. iTunes Album Chart is indeed a really large share of the album market.

Which is why I feel sad. Rated R should be doing better, even if I don't like it that much. You can recognise hard work and effort and a great album, whether you like it or not.

No, Im not being sarcastic/smart/catty...but there have been albums who have topped Top 200 Album Charts without being Top 5 on iTunes. While this album is not performing out of the gate, I'm sure DefJam will pick up the pace like they did after Shut Up & Drive

Saying that something doesn't appear to be doing as well as we expected isn't hate. It's disappointment: this should be up at the top of iTunes duking it out with GaGa, and from what information we have that isn't the current situation.
