Since it was already processed, it won't count as one of your reports.

I'm not asking for the Adele works out thread to be closed, but I'd just like to have some clarification on what's allowed and what's not. Like, why is it that most of the male celebria threads get closed, regardless of whether they're shirtless pics or just regular IG pics or even photo-shoots. But I regularly see pop girl threads like this one left open for pages upon pages, sometimes never getting closed at all? And it's not even just pop girl threads, I've seen certain male celebria threads be left open and never closed, while others get closed immediately. It just feels like there's no consistency (and yes, I admit I am a little bitter that all the hot shirtless threads get closed even when they aren't messy ).
More importantly, why can't you just allow all of them? It's not like there's that much going on in Celebria to begin with. It's generally all pointless gossip stuff anyway...

No I'm not. I'm legit curious why certain threads get closed and others left open. I stan Zayn, but his "posts pic with cousins" thread was left open for days (and people were DEFINITELY being messy in there), while there are some threads for other random male celebs that get closed immediately.
I'm not being shady, I'm respectfully asking for some clarification. It's not like I ever create any of those threads myself anyway. I'm just curious.
Edit: Like for example, there's currently multiple threads within the first two pages that all kind of occupy the same type of space of celeb candids/IG pics/paparazzi photos/photoshoots. Dennis Quaid is open (shirtless pics). Colton Haynes is closed (clothed). Union J's George is closed (clothed). Dan Osbourne is closed (shirtless). Matt Bomer and Ryan Reynolds are both open (shirtless and semi-shirtless). Adele is open (clothed). Mariah on the beach is open. Like, what's the criteria? It just seems kinda random...

Things that are on topic:
"I Love her! QUEEN"
"nnn the way she cackled."
"She's such a low-rent ho!" (That would have been warned, but it would be on topic!"
OK/Ok/Ko/Ohh kay/Old Kate/etc - how does that relate to Jennifer Lopez's appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show?
It doesn't.
I'm sorry it had to be this way, but my heart is even more full of sorrow at the fact that I, and so many of my other moderators, had let these jokes carry on for so long.
Truly sorry about that. You know I <3 you Instinct, and it's not like you're on the edge of glory - unlike Swag, who started the mess and knew he was only OneTwoPoints away from banland. Messy!

This is hilarious.
I wanted to post in that thread saying how cute J. Lo is but it was already derailed. oop. I didn't expect them to get warned but hopefully that annoying trend dies now. Literally pointless. #CutForThreads

Because those type of threads are pointless and offer no type of discussion. They just provide often vulgar comments. Threads for IG posts can easily go in a base if that person has one. It's just not important enough to thread, the same thing for shirtless male threads. When there are 5 threads for a shirtless guy and even more for the same shirtless guy, it gets to be way too much.
"Shawn Mendes serves big arms", "Charlie Puth hot & shirtless" etc. It's becoming a trend that isn't necessary.

To be honest, it's really my fault. If I didn't follow Swag's lead and posted something relevant, maybe 1 or 2 people would have still done it.
Although if I didn't post at all it would have happened anyway.
Also, what are your thoughts on random poll options that have nothing to do with the topic? For example, if we're voting on which artist is the best between a few of them and the last poll option is "Buy Confident on iTunes". Will the OP be warned for those?

Going of the whole "ok" topic
what about the iconic phrase "very cool and interesting?'

Okay that's understandable. But then what kind of purpose does "Adele in gym" or "Mariah serving on the beach" or "Dennis Quaid serving body" or "Matt Bomber for Men's Fitness" or even "Zayn posts pic with cousins" or anything like that serve? It seems to me like they all offer the same quality in discussion: swooning over how hot or cute these celebs are, all of which are still open. I just wanna know why some get closed and others get left open forever when they all occupy the same space of "pointlessness". Most of the topics in celebria are pointless anyway.
And again, I'm not asking for any of these threads to be closed. I'm just curious bc it seems so random to me.

I got reported and then got a WP for saying that once so I'm assuming it's flamebait

If "talent always wins" is allowed, I don't see why that one should be warnable.

There's nothing wrong with posting a celeb's magazine spread/cover because that is actually thread worthy and can actually hold a discussion (even if vulgar comments still exist in those threads). The reason those threads aren't a problem because they aren't made on a constant basis. Someone can post Mark Walhberg, Dennis Quaid or whoever at the beach because those type of threads aren't being made for thirst traps and other nonsense on a constant basis.
Posting a shirtless guy posing on IG or whatever just doesn't require a reason to post. Especially when it's guys that are constantly being threaded about. Ok they are shirtless, and? It's literally no different than the others. It's becoming an annoying trend and it's getting out of hand with the vulgar comments also. It was amount of time before the mods noticed and started to take action.

But that's just it though. There was a lesser known celeb (he was def famous, just not Matt Bomer famous) who had a professional photoshoot posted just a couple weeks ago that was closed with swiftness. Nothing inappropriate about it at all. He wasn't even shirtless. I'll try and find it later if I can.
Then there's still the Zayn posts pic with cousins thread which was from IG and was left open. Zayn gets posted about constantly and he has a base. I love him and obv don't mind his constant threads being left open, but I mean... And mind you, people were being messy and thirsting over an underage boy in that one too. And Mark Wahlberg gets posted about constantly too. He's basically ATRL's resident white daddy
I get the whole "pointless" thing in regards to IG pics, but I'd think that there would be some consistency if what you're saying is true, but there really doesn't seem to be.
