Well it's a fantastic song and a BIG urban hit. Its sales and streams are hella impressive, considering pop radio payed it dust. 169M streams on Spotify, only tracks such as Trap Queen and Hotline Bling have more.

The idea of impact is so stupid.

The song was big, but nowhere near as big as ATRL likes to say it is. I guess its subject factor makes it a bit of a novelty (i know there is a better word for this, but I cannot come up with it) so it is used in the media a lot.
