Look @ Legend X still outdoing Britbrit in recurrent airplay in 2016.
This is just airplay from AC leading stations. Not even counting all AC stations, and HAC + Pop + Rhythmic.
Yes thanks for confirming that radio stations play xtina more and yet her album sales continue to sell below.
I'm not sure why you all don't think about this before you try to shade.
People now are holding radio to such a high standard but then use streaming and other things as crutches.
I love when people who get high recurrent airplay have stans that brag. Their faves flop albums sell really low as well as total sales in many cases.
Why don't artists release covers as singles anymore?
Literally in the 90's and before almost every artist covered a song or two on their album, and most released a cover as a single once in their career.
It seems like this past decade it just disappeared. Nobody even bothers to cover a song on their album, let alone release a cover. None of the Pop Girls have done it this decade.
I can't even think of the last time a cover was a hit. And the only times it's happen this decade if when an artist covers a current hit. Nobody covers an old hit and makes it a new hit anymore.
were you trying to achieve something in particular by comparing Britney's top 10 hit from her 2nd album to xtina's first #1 album from her debut...her highest selling era to date.

They "sample" songs more often now. So they can have it to their names.
That new Rachel Platten single actually slays though, it's really cute Thank god something good is finally becoming a hit, radio has been **** for like months
And her album is really cute too, I use some of it. It's like a more basic combination of Carly Rae/Sara Bareilles/Natasha Bedingfield, which totally works for her
