Anyways, like, GODga is a little boring now because she's so down low and only doing covers but that doesn't change the fact that she created some of the greatest songs of all time, like Government Hooker, Electric Chapel, and Fashion!.
Yeah I'm coming round to Gaga again after disliking most of her music for ages. I go through phases with her. Heavy Metal Lover is such a great song that will never be topped.

Janet is clearly a legend to this generation (that's why current generation artists like Tinashe, Ciara, Jason Derulo, JT, Beyonce, Pink, etc have all tributed and honored her, unlike Madonna)
@Lucas32 She was great in Brooklyn but the movie was very mediocre. Very bittersweet.
This is pretty much what I expect from the movie. I'll see it sometime, it just isn't at the top of my list.

I think I've made it pretty apparent that I love GaGa as well. I probably would consider myself a full-on stan if it wasn't for her hiatus and the whole jazz thing she tried. It's annoying when people think I loathe her or something just because I stan for the Woman who inspired her. Normally I don't even give the time of day to read the little monster vs medonster arguments anymore tbh. But today is different I suppose.

Rachel Platten is the answer as to why American Idol/The Voice have such trouble producing superstars.
If all of those dull, void, personality-free winners of both of those shows were to get a secured record deal and support on pop radio, that's what 90% of them would be releasing.

I like Jennifer though, she's just the fourth or fifth nominee and I want Charlize to make it instead. Somehow I feel like the Academy might not like the lesbian drama Carol though. I dunno why, there's no real reason to feel this way, it just doesn't seem as up their alley.
I hope Charlize can steal Jennifer Lawrence's nomination.
