Let's discuss the meaning of the video:
Old, tired men managing money. Counting money. Making money? For some higher power, as they clearly aren't in control. One of the men falls over dead, and the others just stare at him. They don't leave their position, as they know they must continue forward. Meanwhile an exact replica/clone/replacement of the dead man is waiting in the lobby. He was chosen specifically, as he has the coin in his mouth. He seems nervous and maybe confused. The receptionist, who one would think doesn't hold much power, escorts him into the room. He will be working with the money now, and order will be restored. The dead man is hastily thrown out and forgotten.
In comes Rihanna. She has already gained her true sense of self, she is regal and in control once again. Yet when she comes to this place and the receptionist gives her a glimpse of the money managing machine, she is scared and vulnerable. She immediately surveys the room and seems unsettled. She backs out just as she's arrived. The men continue working, unperturbed.
Just as Rih's escaped she is startled by the sudden appearance of The Innocent, the part of her developed in Barbados, before the fame. Her morals, her intuitions, her fears, her insecurities, her drive, her dreams. The Innocent has on the crown. Rih, despite overcoming the whispers in R6 and reemerging in R7, DOES NOT have the crown. It's still with this small, innocent child. After rejecting the money room, the Innocent finally deems Rihanna capable of wearing the crown. Rih gladly accepts it and places the crowd on her own head, carefully.
Suddenly, the lights go out and everything is gone. Rihanna, with her crown, is surrounded by darkness. The spotlight is on her, and a simple door, reminiscent of R1.
