I think she miss by the media more than GP. All this storys. Every month is something new and weird. The story about the movie, acting leasson, writing a script and all of thay have had more news and have been promoted more than the video or comercials she has shoot. She been link to rihanna to appear in the SB too. Plus they try make her seem desperate to win an oscar.

Don't know if this was discussed but how do we feel about Beyoncé maybe writing and starring in a film about the Hottentot Venus?

I have some major worries about that. Not only does it open her up to ridicule, but it also has to be done REALLY well for it to work and not be some sort of gif-ready parody or problematic American film about a tragic African story.

I'm here for it but I agree that it could so easily become a parody type thing. Bey needs to be confident enough in her acting to pull it off and the script needs to be good. So does the director and just everything about it.

I just have visions of her makeup and hair being a messy attempt like in Cadillac Records (despite that being her best performances) and the prosthetic ass looking cheap and ATRL turning it into nothing but hit .gifs.

Yes. And given how prone she is to criticism, I worry about her making a film about a woman whose butt was objectified, after she is the leader of the Bootylicious movement. I know it's different. One is about her own power and one is about people putting power on you, but I think it's going to be really tricky. But will make for some great interviews.

I'd much rather her make A Star is Born, or something that is less likely to be problematic. And... she's never written a script before. How will she know if it's good, who will tell her honestly? The script is like, one of the most important things in a movie.

I think it's fake anyway but I would prefer her focus on music and not get in over her head with writing, directing, and starring in a film. Glitter did a number on Mariah and I don't want to see the same thing happen to Beyonce.

She gets so nervous in interviews now so she would have to be very involved and educated on the topic - which I don't doubt she would be if she was taking on responsibilities of this size, but still. I don't know, the whole things just makes me anxious to be quite honest.

I'd rather she focus on a more contemporary story too.

Ya, if she's going to do any acting I'd want it to be something she can do but not focus on.

A Star is Born is still my favourite choice for her.

Or like a role in a David O. Russell film where she is part of an ensemble cast and can come in and shine but not be relied on to carry the weight of the entire film.
