You are part of the problem in that thread too, so please if you want the thread closed, make a HR or report it, do not bring the discussion into HQ or anywhere ese with these passive accusations. There was no need for that second phrase if your intention is just to have the thread closed (because obviously, it derailed and members are being offensive, which is true).
