It's not homophobic, though. It's about the superficiality and meaningless of hashtags (as if tweeting #LoveWins meant that you contributed anything to the fight for marriage equality), but it's also about the hypocrisy of saying that "love wins" but then people act so hateful towards other groups (POC, immigrants in particular in this song).
