There are many different approaches in Christianity (Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox being the largest groups) which interpret events that happened 2000 years ago differently, fitting them into a contemporary context.

But that's less relevant. A more important issue is the secular culture which evolved from Christian values and is the base of all Western Laws and most customs as well as morality of the majority of people.

uhhhhhhh. except a lot of the values of the different religions are similar (and most abrahamic religions are pretty similar anyways in comparison to other ones tbh), and the differences weren't the basis of the entire morality of people. and funny how you only say this about islam. does this view mean chinese, japanese, native american, and indian people should get out of the west too? after all, different religious standards apparently mean you can't fit in a society.
