I think it all boils down to what they were expected from both of them (FAME exceeding, Femme Fatale not meeting.) Jive probably thought for sure FF would reach Plat in no time. And they probably didn't expect the FAME era to be as successful as it was (especially coming off Godfitti).

None of them are bad but the highs on Warrior outshine the highs on Animal tbh

And I'd argue that Cannibal is better than both but then I remember Cannibal has We R Who We R, Grow a Pear and CUNx Tuesday, and an EP shouldn't have room for those kind of songs.
