F.A.M.E has definitely sold enough to be certified Platinum already. His label is so BLACK with his certifications ugh.
Femme Fatale got certified when it had barely even reached Gold worthy numbers (granted, that's because her label had such high expectations for it's sales and rushed to certify it thinking it would definitely get there in no time, which it didn't and is super embarrassing) but still. FAME is definitely closer to Platinum. What a mess

Girl you do know that all that was expected of albums to go gold was to sell 250k and platinum 750k, right.
Now gold is 500k and platinum is 1M but all they need to expect was 250 and 750k in order to ship for platinum as the others would be in stores.
Nowadays they are trying to wait until the actual sales surpass for which F.A.M.E did not surpass 1M just like FF did not.
Your fave still has 4.5x platinum in album certifications after 10 years and 7 albums. Accept it.
What's more embarrassing is that some artists re-release their albums at the height of re-release and most re-releases did more than just scrape 2M and 2x platinum.
I mean not everyone is as bad as Pink Friday roman reloaded's 12 releases = 900k+ but barely passing 2M after a re-release isn't anything to write home about either.
