It is great in comparison to her first two but that's not saying alot.

In comparison to a rap album or even a pop album it's decent to good at times.

As an artist, there's no development of herself. That's where the cohesion of who is this and what sense does it make fall flat.

That said, she still could have had good singles from it but it was clear people weren't buying as much as it was pushed in their faces.

W/e you wanna call the thing rap artists do sometimes when they want a song to have crossover appeal.

The point is Nicki needs to focus on putting together a pure rap album w/ a tinge of the other elements. Instead of splitting the albums focus IASF style.

She did better sonically with the Pinkprint, but thematically it was all over the place.

But thats the point. I really dont think having "mainstream appeal" was intended or planned when J Cole was working on his music. His music is straight up rap/hip hop. You're saying it as if that was the intention when he went to the studio and recorded his songs. And as if they purposely recorded things to try and appeal to that. It wasnt. It just so happened to be that way.

Omfg yes, the fish episode annoyed me too and it was such an annoying filler leading to an amazing finale and OMG let's not forget the best episode of all time, 2x14 aka the most viewed episode of the show.

I guess there was no point in rebuilding the school since they were in a college. But writers completely dump a college after season 4 and starting with s5 the characters hang out in a magic shop. It's like they finished a college in a year

2x13 and 2x14 were epic af I was so shocked at the fact that those episodes were in the middle of the season. Final episodes weren't as epic for me but they were still v good! And Angelus is so much better than Angel. Wait until you see Angelus in Angel's season 4.

I mean his overall work isn't aimed at the "GP". But I don't see why certain attempts, a song or two here, couldn't be tailored to have more widespread appeal.

It's not unheard of for rap artists to calibrate their music to resonate with a larger base. It's kinda the reason why features are a thing.
