Rihanna has done almost no promo in the US and she won't until the week of the release.
I think she will do great worldwide. I'm not so sure how she will do in the US.

Is everyone counting out Susan Boyle? Her album has been #1 on Amazon for.... months. Shakira/Lambert are floppin' on this one, #4 and #5 for sure.
I'm sure Rihanna will take this one, but it will be close. I want Gaga to take it, but I don't think she will. It will be nice to see how loyal the Gaga fan base is, to see if they will actually go out and pay for the album.

I would'nt count out Boyle or Shakira. Boyle has some Christian and inspirational songs on her album so the Christian conservatives will buy her music like it's going out of style. Shakira has a loyal latino fan base that will support her.
Rihanna has never had strong first week sales.

I like Shakira, but I actually feel like she won't chart higher than 3 because "She Wolf" didn't do very well, it struggled to get to #11 on Hot 100
