Just by cutting the insane amount of sugar and junk food that the american kids eat is already a great step. And there's so many information out the about how can you eat healthy spending even less money than buying processed food. This lie that eating healthy is expensive comes from the industry itself.

Not necessarily. Fruits and vegetables can be bought for cheap when they are in season or on sale. Do not buy sodas or colorful sugar-enriched cereals for their kids. Buy them sweets as treats not meals. It can be done, but it is hard because the tastiest and most marketed things are purposely not the best for us. This is all by design. We dont see ads for fruits or vegetables or whole grains for a reason. As long as disease is a business.. the unhealthiest foods will continue to be advertised the heaviest.

Not really. Grocery shopping/shopping in bulk is more expensive than living paycheck by paycheck, "healthier" & cheaper stores (like Trader Joes) only appear in more wealthy/educated areas as well. Plus sometimes people don't have like any money except $10, so they buy fast food.

They aren't expensive but, as I've said before, it's hard getting off sugar

True, there are food deserts in impoverished areas where organic food stores are not present but stilll fruits and vegetables are not any more expensive than fast food. Fruits-veggies are actually dirt cheap because they are usually the least bought product in the store, and the stores mark down the prices because they want to sell them before they get bad. 10 dollars spent at McDonalds can get you a stackful of fresh fruits and veggies. People just choose junk food because it just tastes better and it does. Things made in a lab taste better than things from the earth on purpose. The chemical makeup is not the same, it literally is addictive. Nobody is gonna ****ing eat a fruit or veggie bowl if they are on the go even though it is more satiating. Fast food is marketed as the most satisfying & convenient option for us, and it is every where so we almost dont have a choice

Fruits and veggies are not something people can just live off of though, they're very low in calories and usually are only meant to compliment meals. Junk food being appealing is a part of it but its a whole system used to keep lower income people down.

How do you even respond to that? I guess I'll say "oh, I like Sorry..." & then casually stop responding.

The "Alice Morgan" character on Luther is one of my top five favorite female TV characters ever!
So little screen time but so much impact!

Harry Potter is a pop culture phenomenon with the books alone. The movies are just the cherry on top.

It's mostly because people are lazy, brainwashed and addicted to eating ****. If you WANT to eat healthy and are on a tight budget, you can do it. Trader Joe's has a **** ton of organic chicken legs for like $3. It's not chicken breast, but still. Bananas cost nothing. Some fruits are expensive, so don't buy exotic fruit. Buy apples. Eggs cost nothing. Frozen vegetables (which retain their vitamins better than nonfrozen ones because they're frozen on the spot) are cheap. If you really want to, you can do it. Buy sardines and tuna. Have it with some pasta (which costs like a buck). Rice is cheap. Even the thieves at Whole Foods only charge like $5 for fish that's frozen.

If it's a bigger phenomenon than Star Wars like Potter fans say, then why did a 40 year old franchise demolish a franchise that just came out? Keep in mind that Star Wars was not shown in theaters worldwide in the 70s.
