Definitely. You need to give it some time to develop. It is such a meaningful and beautiful show. And the ending is the best thing ever(be careful to avoid spoilers,especially on Youtube).

There are quite a few sex scenes and generally awkward/funny conversations in the show.But it's not as bad as watching for example True Blood with your mom.
I guess it depends on how comfortable you are with your mom Personally I wouldn't wanna watch it with my mom
