Poor lard and her struggle to fill up bloody Vegas theaters. That's what happens to untalented prostitutes

I didn't expect Star Wars to be this huge. If it really does over a billion in the US...

Someone on another forum pointed this out but...
The Sound of Music became the first film to gross $100m+ in the US in 1965 (50 years ago).
The Birth of a Nation became the first film to gross $10m+ in the US in 1915 (50 years before 1965).
Crazy how the timing worked out like that (if $1B does happen).

In 1995, a movie called "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" about a bunch of transvestites (?) topped the box office for two weeks.
And people think progress is being made today because of stuff like "Tangerine" which absolutely no one saw.

Yeah that movie is an LGBT classic. Back when LGBT movies were actually good.

How does Shawn Mendes get away with being a shameless Ed Sheeran wannabe?
At least Ariana waited till Mariah was dead.

It's cool to be transgender because of Caitlyn Jenner now. That's why I'm an ATRL transgender.

THIS song...
THIS song is so perfect. Wow. Macy is the original Jazmine when it comes to breathtakingly underrated and overlooked R&B/soul artists.

Eli, you're just not as smart as you think you are.
I agree, though.

In the '80s the biggest pop star and movie star in the world were MJ and Eddie Murphy (adjusted for inflation, Beverly Hills Cop did $560,031,200 in the US...and it was Rated R
).
There were more black superstars in the '80s than there are now
