Star Trek is frankly for intelligent people (not that SW isn't). It regularly battled social norms, fought against the patriarchy, and introduced controversial themes that turned off millions. Plus there was like no action, half of it is just talking, sorta like a PG version of Game of Thrones in space. It isn't for everyone. Love it though.
