The pop charts were being dominated by R&B in 2005. It was released because the genre was big at the time and they had a new face to promote. What's so hard to get about that?

White people listen to rap/R&B music too, you know? The Weeknd is smashing right now despite making R&B music in a climate that isn't even friendly to that genre, and it's because he makes music that appeals beyond the urban demographic.

Chris did the same exact thing. Run It isn't even some slow R&B ballad like Let Me Love You or So Sick either. Not that different from what gets played on pop radio, neither then nor now.

Just because your music dips over into white people listening doesn't mean you are catering to white people.

Of course, some white people are going to hear R&B and Rap songs. So is Fetty Wap catering to white people since day 1?

Just because white people like something doesn't mean it's catering to pop. White people liked Trap Queen and all of Fetty's songs, was he catering to pop by making them? No. Both Run It and Yeah are more "crunk" sounding than anything. And like they said themselves, R&B/Urban music was popular then. Why would they have to cater to "pop" if the Urban sound was what was big then anyway.

Oh Ryan! I finally got around to watching Star Wars! And whew!

Great story. I love that it used the first (and best movie) as a template with a revamped storyline. It felt both reminiscent and like a new experience.

One thing they could have done better is chosen a more attractive black actor.
I don't see the less attractive version of Denzel going far.
