You all forget how huge Miley was during her Hannah Montana days, but Lord, do you know how hard it was to get a ticket to one of her concerts? Bitch sold out Madison Square Garden in like 10 minutes and her show soundtracks were going multi-platinum like nothing and EVERY girl had some form of her merchandise.

It's crazy to think that now when she's putting up her albums on soundcloud and no one has any idea of it.

It WAS aimed for the pop charts. R&B was dominating the charts in '05, and it's not like it's some hard ghetto anthem. It has a pop structure, danceable production and a pleasant melody.
