As someone who loved Dead Petz, even I find this try-hard
Not everything needs to be subversive/"deep". This isn't even a novel or interesting concept, being sad on Christmas has been covered musically a zillion times. It'd be saved if it was melodically interesting, but most of her guitar & vocal tracks are as interesting as watching paint dry, and this sounds like no exception. Also, her song-writing style is becoming a complete Best Coast rip-off, with even less original rhyming couplets. Hope the Grinch steals this trash.
