Well, the first two Star Wars film were quite good ( I just see The Return of the Jedi was panned) but the other two that followed were quite average (saved by Ewan McGregor) and the last two ( The Revenge of the Medonsters and The Force Awakens) are masterpieces

The best way to tell how much propaganda is a factor in is to see how said franchise or product performs in obscure countries that have a more independent media or no hugely visible 24-7 corporate-backed mass media machine ala America. I always think it is striking what Russia gravitates toward. No shade. Their taste.. is interesting.. The Chinese are Pavlovian dogs for anything American much more so than all of Euro even.. East Asia is quite predictable in their taste. Russia is more random. Like extremely at times
