They don't defacate, they demonstrate their hate to love Britney.
One of them accidentally admitting to playing one of her songs because they were too focused on trying to drag her and admitted they were a stan.
It seems as though there are trends where a gaga/nicki/kim (when giselle is active)/katy/beyonce/rihanna etc are targeted but Britney is an easy target because
People always like to compare you to the worst times in your life. Many probably get judged like that themselves and project.
Their faves will do any stunt or gimmick in the book and still not rank top 10 best selling female artists of all time.
Despite the many mistakes she's made in the past, her legacy, impact ,influence, pop classics and ability to remain relevant and command millions annually is something that their faves could not do without constantly having a perfect image that isn't them.
They barely have classics at that. Britney did so much that shows how to make a career successful but also how to destroy a career and yet she's still making 30M+ a year...their faves wouldn't be able to come back for making half of the mistakes.
Some can't even make 3 mistakes without their careers being in limbo.
They are angry when they realize she's your faves' fave and her almost daily mention in media regarding her impact, influence, success and relevance negates their try hard tactics.
They'll realize at some point the time they dedicate to hating to love her could have been better spent.
She'll continue commanding millions and being embedded in pop culture.
Even if you don't consider her songwriting very good the overall perception of her being talented by most people sets her apart from Britney.
I'm kinda happy that she's nobody in US. That will allow her to have hits for a long time since people just don't care about how old is she, how she looks and etc. (a D!ke teas). Pretty sure she will have a couple of hits in US and WW next year. Ugh, can't wait
