It does. There's a study published few weeks ago saying a healthy portion of music consumers stream songs or albums and buy it if they like it.
Spotify didn't stop Hello from breaking all the records. Shake It Off was also selling well when it was on Spotify.
They are just greedy. All of them. Don't let them fool you.
