Where's JL? I'm reading ScarPig her new comedy "Move That Body" and there's a scene where she's coked out in a cab on her way back from her bachelorette party and she's talking nonstop about the Armenian genocide ("the Armenian genocide is a tragedy that is too often overlooked") to the cabbie who keeps explaining that he's actually Greek.
And she goes "It doesn't matter! We should all keep the Armenian genocide in our thoughts!"
If I see this scene with my very own eyes on film, I'll stan.
“In the next year you’ll start to see all kinds of usages for the songs on Dark Sky Island,” says Dion Singer, executive vice-president of creative at Warner Bros. “It’s all about finding ways of exposing her music while being absolutely aware that it needs to keep the elegance and respect of her compositions. We can also see how being in films and commercials kept her music so front of mind. It’s exciting when you see how many people stream her entire catalog every week and the different kinds of playlists she ends up on.”
SeLEGEND releasing the hottest video of the year which happens to be directed by an Armenian, the Kardashians being the biggest things on the scene, Cher being the Queen of Pop, the hottest actresses now discussing the Armenian Genocide in their movies... Lord, our nationality its longevity and impact, WOW!
