So the rule about not being able to have someone ATRL name in your sig without their permission is probably the most ludicrous rule on this forum
It's been a thing for years. If someone doesn't like being quoted, it's pretty much in their right to ask it to be removed. And the mod would have removed it from your sig if you didn't.
I think it is if the user has an issue with it you need to change it, because 95% of the quoted sigs, probably don't get permission ahead of time.
yeah I later found out that it is this, but still ridiculous in my opinion, they shouldn't be posting stuff in a public forum, if they are that bothered about what they are saying appearing in a sig.

I mean, I guess. But people can quote you X amount of times in a thread (as long as it isn't closed) to laugh at you and that member can do jackshit. He/she can't forbid you from quoting or say "don't quote me or I'm going to tell the mods on you!!!" in a thread. Not quite sure how having the quote in a signature is different. But I'm ready to be clocked, as there is almost always a reason for everything.

This is what I don't get just seems like a waste of time all around.
