My baby Tinashe's problem is that her sound isn't wide appealing. 2 On was a good urban hit, but she needs something waaaaaaaay more flat and generic.

She doesn't have the voice to sell soul music like Adele
She doesn't have the looks and sex appeal of Beyonce or Rihanna
She's not white like Gaga/Britney/Katy/Taylor

So it's going to be tough for her. But she needs to trend hop until a sound blows up.
She can't risk her career trying to set trends. Just go with the flow Tinashe!
