I quite like how The Fame sounds of it's time, the whole imagery and such was very tacky and cheap and I like that a lot of the album is dated. I don't know why, honestly. It's dated in a different way to ARTPOP, because unlike ARTPOP, it wasn't dated on arrival. It's hard to explain what I mean. Hopefully someone understands.

Also, we all agree that Million Years Ago is the best song on 25 right?

Also, I watched Joy and whew! Jennifer's performance was so good. No hint of Katniss or Mystique.

People always joke she's just playing herself, but I think that's part of her charm, you believe her performance cause she's not some over-expression of another person. Just an extension of that character within her. (Although she was annoying in American Hustle).

The story could have wrapped up better though. Something felt missing at the ending. I can see why they ended it there, but it was unsatisfying.

Wait @ your taste going north for a sec. Sweetest Devotion is amazing, I love album closers about children (SD, Blue, lowkey Mer Girl).

Yeah it's definitely hugely influenced by both of those, and so in turn influenced by classic Mediterranean music, but it works and it's one of her best imo. Would be a terrible single choice though.
