I still can't deal with how front loaded HIAM was. 400k first week, and I think it stalled around 1.6M? Finished in the 50s on the year end chart as a Q1 release, and didn't even go recurrent. A damn mess.

Most of her ARTPOP album campaign was nonsensical, as in the the things that she was saying. People were extremely turned off. I was too, at times.
But she mainly suffered post-BTW because of how "gay" she had become, in a primarily homophobic society.
I thought the hype was there for Artpop I mean all the visuals we got were recieved really well . I didn't see the decline until the Roar&Applause mess
