Nah, Lipton is right. "Double Rainbow" > "Unconditionally."

Don't get me wrong. Like Katy Perry, the concept for "Double Rainbow" is dumb as [expletive]. But some of the lyrics are kinda cool and the studio vocal execution of the chorus would have sounded good on radio. When she first comes in with "'Cause I understand you. We see eye to eye..." sounds really good, before she goes into the double rainbow nonsense.

It could have been Katy Perry's famous "Everytime" pop ballad.
But she insisted on making the concept dumb, as she does with most of her music/videos.
