Woo, it's a been a minute since I've been on ATRL logged on like this, on my computer, for a good length of time, since I would like to say over a week.
Let me just respond to those above because those comments seem to be the gist of what people are getting at with their frustration of how this game is ending.
Cupid and I started this game in the hopes of finishing the game within three to four weeks after starting. If my math is correct, the last time I did an update we were going on week four, so basically the maximum length we wanted to go. On top of that, when we started this, we didn't know how things were going to be in our ACTUAL lives at this current moment towards the end.
I recently got a new full time weekday job shortly before Thanksgiving, so on top of that and my already weekend job I have my time has become VERY limited. That's a big reason why I personally haven't been able to do my share in the updates. When I get home I'm tired and usually don't have time to do anything but want to sleep (which just spoiler alert, is starting to make me think that I can't do ANTM next year so lets just hope I get into the swing of things and can still do it). As for Cupid, he's been visiting friends and family in prep of the holidays and working during the holidays as well. Thus his hours of availability have been limited as well. I'm sure you all have been or are busy during this time too, so please try to be a little reasonable like we try to be.
As for a messy ending of a game hosted by two moderators... let me just say this, at least we are FINISHING a game. Not a lot of members can say the same and just abandon when they get busy or just don't give a **** anymore about. So let's not.
As for this being unfair, this is basically the best solution we could come up with with our schedules to get it finished. You say to postpone it, but do you really think EVERYONE will come back and pay attention to it afterwards? I mean, even when we were updating regularly people were still getting killed off for not submitting and keep up with this game, so what's the difference? Even if we were updating regularly, this point would have still come where you could no longer hide and all you could do is kill
Lastly thank you to Brodie, for the kind words during the sea of otherwise smiley posting and frustrated posts with or without people not submitting as a rebellion to the update.
